Production on the film âRustâ has resumed, following the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on set by actor Alec Baldwin. However, getting the Baldwin-led film on track is not as âstraightforwardâ as previously thought, according to the new safety officer, Paul Jordan. Baldwin’s alleged stubborn reluctance to follow set protocol is a behavior prosecutors will likely use in the actor’s manslaughter trial. Jordan, who is set to testify against the actor, detailed an encounter where Baldwin resisted safety advice regarding a horse riding sequence. âThere was a little bit of yelling at times, insisting he could do certain things that everyone else felt he couldnât do,â said Jordan Baldwinâs defense has stated that he “is on trial for involuntary manslaughter, not his attitude.â
