BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – When those scales open at 4:00 pm Friday, a big blue will be one of those fish hoisted up on the big scale.
Here’s a picture of that blue marlin that the boat “Jolene” hooked Friday morning.
The fishing team is expected to arrive at the docks around 3:00 pm this afternoon. Remember you’re welcome to come out for the weigh-ins. It’s free to attend but there is a fee for parking.
The weigh-in will be at the Point South Marina Bay Point from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm and will reopen on Saturday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at night. Music with Mitch Pierson and guests will start at 7:30 pm.
The awards ceremony will start Sunday at 10:00 am.
Our very own Chris Marchand is one of the hosts for the weigh-ins this weekend. In addition to watching the fish be weighed, there is live music all night on the big stage.
