Fantastic Four Movie: Kevin Feige Teases Film’s Timeline in The MCU – IGN The Fix: Entertainment

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige revealed some fantastic information for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, which is currently slated to release next July.On the official Marvel podcast, he mentions production on the movie will begin right after this year’s San Diego Comic Con, as well as teasing where in the Sacred Timeline the film will take place in the overall #MCU. Feige making mention that production will take place soon after Comic Con is a teaser in and of itself, as that might mean fans can expect some major announcements coming out of Hall H from Marvel Studios – which is where the #FantasticFour movie was first announced, way back in 2019. It’s been a while, but I guess we had a bit of a Blip in our timeline too. On the podcast, Feige didn’t explicitly confirm when the film takes place  but he was keen to point out how observant fans have been deciphering the very few promotional images that’ve been released. For instance, in this Valentine’s Day image, you can see Ben Grimm reading a Life magazine with what appears to be President Lyndon Johnson in the Oval Office. LBJ was in The White House from 1963 to 1969, so this seems to suggest the movie is set during that period.
