Justin Timberlake was arrested in the Hamptons for driving while intoxicated, as confirmed by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. The âSexyBackâ singer was observed running a stop sign and failing to maintain his lane, leading to a traffic stop at 12:37 am. Timberlake, who was driving a BMW, exhibited signs of intoxication, including bloodshot eyes, slowed speech and an unsteady gait. He reportedly told officers he had “one martini” and was following friends home. After being arrested and held overnight, Timberlake was arraigned at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court and released without bail. His attorney, Ed Burke, noted that Timberlake refused a breath test and received additional citations for traffic violations. The next court date is set for July 26.
